Day1:  Kathmandu to Pokhara

Fly early morning to Pokhara with excellent mountainous view (approx.30min). You will be escorted from Airport to a hotel by our private vehicle, then get ready to go for half day sightseeing after lunch. First we drive to Davi’s fall and Gupteswor Mahadev Cave after visiting these places we’ll go for boating in Fewa Lake, at the middle of lake you will land on the Iceland of the Barahi temple. After two hours long boating we will be back to the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight in hotel.

Day2: Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni

After breakfast we will get ready for fly Jomsom. We will be transferring you from Jomsom Airport, Jomsom which is famous for its apples, strong winds and the landscape. We begin our trek on an open trail alongside a beautiful valley. We pass through Eaklibatti village after Jomsom which is ideally located at the bank of two rivers. The village is beautiful with flat-roofed houses and also has ruins of an old fortress. Overnight stay in Kagbeni.

Day3: Kagbeni to Zhaite

The actual upper Mustang hike starts towards the bank of the river of Kaligandaki.  Today you will pass by villages Tangbe and Chusang, Taklam La pass, Dajori La pass as well as the view of Tilicho, Yakawa Kang and Damodar Danda and passes by Ramchung Cave and we will spend overnight at Zhaite with camping or campfire.

Day4: Zhaite to Lo Manthang 

We have one other high passes to conquer ahead of us call Yamda La pass at 3,850m height, We will pass by several villages like: Charang where we will experience Tibetian lifestyle and Gurung and Thakali culture. As well as the dynamic view of the Lo-Manthang valley and several other red rock mountains.

Day5: Lo Manthang to Jomsom

Lo-Manthang is the capital of the last Buddhist kingdom of Nepal built in the 15th century and there are ancient monasteries namely Jhampa, Thupchen, Chooser, and Chhoeda in Tinggar Valley. We will let you experience the pony ride to the border of Tibet China and later in the evening hike to Tingkhar. It is located north-west of Lo-Mangtang offers overlooking views of the valley and ancient Gomba from the top. It’s believed in Gombha all our wishes are full filled. We will return the same way to Jomsom.

Day6: Jomsom to Pokhara and Pokhara to Kathmandu

Early in the morning, we will catch the flight to Pokhara from Jomsom and later head back to Kathmandu via flight approx. 30 mins or through public transport which takes around 6-7 hrs in normal traffic.

Mustang is one of the deserts of Nepal in high elevation which lies in the altitude of 3,840 meter. Mustang visit offers the most thrilling experience of life as you explore the deep gorges, Culture, Apple farms, High speed Kali Gandaki River and Gompa’s. It is generally divided into two parts as Upper mustang and Lower mustang where each part has its unique things to explore. Upper mustang is in the rain shadow of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range making it one of the most thrilling zones to do trekking and lower mustang is famous for natural scenery and accessibility throughout the year.  Upper Mustang is the area that commercially connects Tibet and India. Unlike other parts of NepaI where Hindu culture is prevailed mostly this part of the country is mostly dominated by Tibetan Buddhist culture. It was once a part of Tibetan kingdom joined in Nepal since 1790. Upper Mustang remained a restricted demilitarized area, making it one of the most preserved region as it hardly allowed any visitors till 1992 majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetic languages. Lower mustang as it’s in the rain shadow region very little rain affects the area making it very much accessible all-round the year. It also offers short treks. Apple farms in the field of Markhu and the famous Thakali food also belong to lower Mustang. Kali Gandaki River also follows through the lower Mustang. Saligrams, also found only in the Kali Gandaki River, are ammonites which are considered sacred. Explore the monasteries Jyampa, Thubchen and Chodye, Chortens and mani wall. Best place to visit in Mustang is Muktinath temple, Thubchen Gompa, Ghar Gompa, Bara Gaon which lies in the lower Mustang. You will enjoy the local inhabitant’s courteous behavior; their different traditions and cultures, delicious apples and comfortable Himali lodges in the villages. You can explore the Red Cliffs, caves and sand hills during your trek; and the magnificent view of the cliffs, and their color as the sun sets, will make you feel like you are catching a glimpse of heaven. Chhairo Gompa is surrounded by the charming locals and monks and you can get plenty of historical information from them, religious sites Marpha Monastery and Sandup Choeding Gompa, Jomsom villag, Lo Manthang, and Marpha Hill.
