Day1: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara

On the first day of tour we will take short plane to Pokhara. Journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara lasts 1 hour and 15 min by Air. After reaching Pokhara we will take lunch and get ready to go to Nayapul and Tikhedhunga afterwards it takes around 5-6 hours. We will stay overnight there.

Day2: Trek to Ghorepani from Tikhedhunga

Our trek starts after breakfast. We will walk forward to Ulleri at a height of 2070 meters. While walking making sure that we’re always on one side of the path, thereby permitting the donkeys to pass through. Occasional views of the peaks give way to a narrower valley. We proceed through Rhododendron forest eventually reaching Ghorepani. It is a beautiful place from where we can enjoy the most spectacular views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. The area will be covered by snow in winter season. The Ghorepani is at the height of 2855 meters. We will stay overnight there.

Day3: Ghorepani Poon hill to Tadapani

Early morning, we will climb for one hour to Poon hill. It is one of the most popular trekking areas in Nepal best known for the striking view of sunrays hitting Dhalaugiri range. It is situated at an altitude of 3210 meters from where we can see the tremendous views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. After appreciative views and taking a good pause, we trek down to Ghorepani village and have breakfast and proceed to Tadapani.

From Ghorepani the trail climbs south following a path through dense forests.  It finally emerges on a grassy knoll which offers Perfect Mountain views, including sight of Machhapuchhre and a panorama all the way south to the plains of India. The area is quite alike to that of Poon Hill. Keep climbing along the ridge all the way through pine and rhododendron forests to a ridge at 3030m, and then descent to two bars, a second pass also known as Deurali at 2960m. The trail then descends sharply to a stream before the hiking resume, going through a forest to Tadapani. Overnight stay is at the lodge.

Day4: Tadapani to Ghanddruk

From Tadapani the trail descends through stunning forests to Ghanddruk, which is a beautiful village of Gurung people, one of Nepal’s most popular ethnic groups, known for their distinctive language, culture, customs and life style. It is also home to many soldiers from the famous Gorkhali regiments. From here we can have stunning views of Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and Fishtail.

Day5: Ghanddruk to Tolka

Today we descend from Ghanddruk to the Modi Khola River, which we cross by a suspension bridge. We will pass some unusual oval-shaped houses before ascending to the village of Tolka on a long stone staircase 3 hours. Overnight at Lodge

Day6: Tolka to Pothana

Tolka to Phedi and will drive back to Pokhara. Its take 2/3 hour and we will visit some sightseeing of Pokhara: fewa lake, Mahendra, Gupteshwor caves etc.

Day7: Half day at pokhara

After breakfast we will spend half day at Pokhara we will go to visit paragliding and zip flying and then proceed to world peace stupa and afternoon we will back to Kathmandu back via flight, we will drop you at your place/hotel.

Ghorepani Poon Hill also known as Annapurna’s Panorama. This is located in Myagdi District of Dhaulagiri Zone of northern- central Nepal. It is one of the best places of Nepal for trekking. The area is famous for captivating traditional villages. You can see beauty and local lifestyle of Ulleri, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk villages as well as you will enjoy the trek in the spectacular mountain scenery through delightful villages inhabited by Gurungs and Magars. The Poolhill is 3210m above sea level which is why it offers the best view of mountains and first rays of sun striking the Himalayas. The whole of Ghorepani is densely forested with rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal and full of birds, imaging valleys make your trip more enjoyable. Best time to visit this place is in spring and autumn. In spring it’s a splendid view to walk across mountains full of rhododendron flowers enjoying panoramic view of mountains. Mt. Dhaulagiri ranges Mt. Annapurna I, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli, and Manaslu ranges will view from this trek. You can start your journey from Nayapul to finish in Ghandurk.
